Internship as Battery Research Analyst m/f/d (50-100%)

ABOUT SPHERE ENERGY

Sphere Energy (sphere-energy.eu) is a fast-growing, highly innovative battery startup – with the mission to accelerate and simplify the commercialization and validation of new energy storage technologies. In the last years, we have won several startup awards and leading research institutions and global industrial players as our clients. After closing a financing round, we are now scaling our business globally. Hence, we are looking for an intern (ideally located near Augsburg/Munich/Zurich) to join our team and make a decisive contribution.

YOUR ROLE

Support us within our daily business – reaching from consulting projects (battery technology innovation, sustainability, etc.) and broad market research to more specific analyses of companies and battery technologies or internal tasks like data analysis. In exciting customer projects, you will help leading global companies to find the right battery strategy for their specific positioning – and gain first-hand insights into one of the top future technology trends.

Anforderungen

RESPONSIBILITIES

Research and analysis within the broad topic of lithium-ion batteries and beyond (battery cells, cell manufacturers, battery end applications, technology trends, …)
Screening of the latest industry trends via scientific publications, news articles, ...
Help to build up long-term internal databases on the battery industry, set up new offerings and improve Sphere’s external brand appearance
Manage subtasks of larger customer projects (incl. autonomous planning and adherence to time schedules)
Preparation of presentations for internal and external use

YOUR PROFILE

Accurate and diligent work ethic combined with a quick grasp of new topics/concepts
Interest in battery technologies, sustainability, electromobility and similar (experience in the field is of course a plus but not a requirement)
Enrolled in / completed studies with a scientific or business background
Good oral and written skills in German and English
Experience in using PowerPoint, Excel
Positive minded and curious personality
